For many years now I have been making ballet skirts for my beautiful, talented daughter, who completed her full time vocational training a couple of years ago. Along with skirts I have also made her countless dance and theatrical costumes for competitions and various performances.

Several years ago I started making costumes for a local contemporary ballet company, Chantry Dance, for their annual UK tours; everything from steampunk inspired costumes for ‘Dracula – Welcome to D’s’, to kitting out Alice, Hatter and the rest of the gang for ‘Alice – Wonderland through the Looking Glass’.

These wonderful, creative experiences, along with a long time fascination with tutus and their construction, lead to my decision to start this business. I have spent many years taking courses in tutu construction, experimenting, perfecting various techniques and working on creating ballet skirts with a beautiful shape and movement.
